an ode to Odd
Odd Tandberg is a well-known Norwegian modern artist who has created a very diverse range of works. The museum to display his art consists of a route through his sculptures set within the landscape and several museum buildings.
The main entrance is a glass pavilion where people descend into the landscape. This route ends in the large exhibition space. The semi-transparent facade allows diffused light and shows the undulating contour of the surrounding landscape.
The other buildings house a museum shop, a cafe and the home of the artist that has been transformed into a part of the museum.
